It is NOW available "All Contained", the limited edition boxed set containing ten of Nic Potter's solo albums including: The Long Hello Volume Two, Self Contained, Dreams Ion View 81-87,Dreamworld, Mountain Music & Sketches In Sound, New Europe-New Colours, Mountain Music, Sketches In Sound, The Blue Zone, The Blue Zone Party Live At The Dome London.

The box also contains an exclusive interview DVD filmed in London in 2009 where Nic discusses his career both before during and after Van Der Graaf Generator and of course his solo career and the albums contained in the All Contained box. Nic Potter has also signed each box.

'The Blue Zone Party Live' was really a one-off musical party event. Having done very little rehearsing we just went for it (despite the complex nature of some of the music).
There was a special atmosphere at The Dome that night and everyne had a great time.
Over the years many people have written in asking if, and when, a CD of 'The Blue Zone Party Live' might be released. Well, finally here it is !
The music took on a life of its own with many special and unplanned moments (sometimes totally anarchic, sometimes powerful, sometimes beautiful, and lots of unherearsed jamming). Hope you like it.

NEWS FROM NIC POTTER: The release of the 'Zom-Art series' of the entire back catalogue

Greetings! I am pleased to announce the release of the 'Zom-Art series' of my entire back catalogue (Zomart, distributed and marketed by Voiceprint.)
All ten cd's have been re-mastered with greatly improved artwork (all the cd's feature parts of my paintings).
There are also new bonus tracks on 5 of the cd's, and one new cd 'The Blue Zone Party Live At The Dome (London 29/05/1991 featuring Guy Evans, David Jackson, Huw LLoyd Langton and myself.)
I have been closely involved with this series (including re-mastering, artwork etc.) for quite some time - its been a very big project!
There are several unique features of the series, for example when the spines of all ten cd's are placed in the right order they form a painting of mine.
Supplies are fairly limited at the moment, so early ordering is strongly recommended!
The *BOX SET* (title : All Contained) will be released end of October (Limited Edition of 100), I will have a few copies available. It includes a DVD interview with myself and some random photos of some of my paintings.
Meanwhile my new cd (In a secret garden) is nearly finished...

Two new solo albums for Nic Potter

Nic is always working to finish the new solo albums. The first one will be called 'In a secret Garden' and it includes some of the 'Spanish' music. The second one will be more heavy with lots of bass, with no definete title yet but might be simply : 'Nic Potter - Bass'.

Voiceprint are getting around to releasing a Limited Edition boxed set of the 10 cd's plus a DVD interview of Nic (100 copies). About the new solo album of Nic...is about 75% finished and will be finished this summer (end). I know that will be an "exciting album"...

The TIGERS official website to celebrate 30th anniversary of "Savage Music"

There is now a TIGERS official website, organised by Tony Jackson (the singer and main writer) to celebrate 30th anniversary of the album "Savage Music" (1980). On this album Nic Potter, like member, plays bass guitar on a...kind of music totally different (opposite...) than VDGG and solo album. On this official site it is also possible to download the song Savage Music (VBR) and order online the CD (re-mastered edition). RE-RELEASING CATALOGUE OF SOLO ALBUM - Zom-Art Series (Voiceprint Record)

Should be released in Summer 2009 the 10 album on CD of the catalogue of Nic Potter with different covers (ZOM-ART Series). At the moment, we don't know if they will be release at the same time or individualy. There is talk about a possible BOXED SET, with some "bonus" tracks and, probably, re-mastering tracks and new artwork info.
Very interesting (and NEW) will be the live album "The Blue Zone Party", previously published only on TAPE (300 copies). We have preview of all the pictures of the NEW COVERS and next weeks will publish on this website (probably on a new section of Discography).
